Editing in response to owners reply. This is still quite an upcharge. Just a quick online search and I was able to find them on Amazon for under $14/pound. I don't buy a lot of jelly beans but $20/pound is high. Seeing the signs that stated, you fill it, you pay for it, should have been a sign that I was about to be ripped off. I am so upset about my experience her today. I took my kids in for a treat and let them fill a bag of jelly beans. There was a sign that said bags typically cost between $2-$4. I know the kids filled their bags pretty full but when he rang them up it was $79!!!! For two bags of jelly beans! When I questioned it he said, you got 4lbs of jelly beans. No other explanation and was not at all friendly. I paid it and left vowing to never return. Now I'm sitting here angry over this before that is just ridiculous.

Spoke with owner to place a large order for a school event. Ordered in advance and candy was ready for pickup on time! Candy was perfect for a candy bar. Children were able to select their candy and parents on the party committee were thrilled everything was pre-bagged so we didn’t have to clean up a mess at the end of the night. I’d definitely use them again for my next event.

The staff here is top notch! Even during holiday season at The Somerset Collection - when there are sometimes DOZENS of people in this store - the staff always has a friendly attitude, are very welcoming and provide efficient service. They are approachable, and obviously have a lot on their plate since it gets so busy. This store has a lot to choose from and they are always trying out new products too! I love that I’ve already gone back a couple times and seen new candy/sweets every time. Don’t let one or two bad reviews in here sway your opinion - The Sweet Factory is a Somerset staple with a lot to offer. It makes a wonderful pitstop during a shopping day!
